People will believe what are told by others and what they tell themselves. In life perception is reality, and we all have insecurities that each of us struggles with that no one knows unless it is told. As a woman that was semi fit and healthy, I struggled with the concept of beauty, motherhood, body image and much much more. Now after going through such a dramatic and ongoing health scare there are even more regarding self esteem, confidence and my own identity. I carry all this with me everywhere I go as strangers amongst me don't know the goodness of my heart, my thunderous laugh or my impatience for injustice. All they see is the preconceived idea of a woman whose eyes tell a story not worth asking as they themselves may be going through something. Why do we wear all these insecurities so well that keeps us comparing ourselves subconsciously to every perfect picture of a man or woman society keeps selling to confirm our inadequacies. We are the ambassadors of our insecurities, a badge or tag we wear so well that it is hard to rip like a bandage on a blooded knee. Is there hope for us, yes indeed. But where do we start as this is no small feat. If you are looking for answers there isn't one that I can give, but I can tell you this, patience is the key. So take your time trying to undo the many years you have built up to those insecurities. One step, two steps even three to not being an ambassador of our insecurities.

The simple things we hold ourselves accountable for is beyond words. We tell ourselves many a times we are not good enough when in truth we really are but our insecurities are blinders so thick that it keeps us in hindrance.
