Patience is one of those words that means practice, practice and practice some more. It is accepting or tolerating events or situations without being angry or upset or getting annoyed despite the difficulties you may be facing. It is hard as it can lead to feelings of frustration and anger where you find yourself lashing out unexpectedly. It is challenging to the point where you are apologizing for any crazy outbursts or outlandish behaviors. We all know words do matter and if used in the wrong context can land like daggers and create misunderstandings. Therefore, it is good pause and dig deeply into some coping skills as these help to keep you grounded and from going zero to one hundred. If all fails, remember you are a work in progress. Continue rexamining and revisiting aspects of your life that needs tweaking and fixing. If you can control your reaction in the short-term, then you will have less regrets. Patience means practice.
