The inevitable

How prepared can one be for such a thing. Why is it called this awful name. Why does it sound so sad and unavoidable. I don't like the INEVITABLE, I don't like it at all. Why not say impending, necessary or even inescapable. There is a certain word that lingers with such a drastic meaning. The word that means the end, permanent, no more in existence. Will it bring me peace, joy, acceptance or happiness, I think not. I do not want to be a part of the inevitable thinking I am being forced to accept. We all know it's an absolute fact, a most certain outcome headed down the street towards grief and pain. Will we be okay, who knows, but we are trying our very very BEST to ward off that word which in time maybe will make sense. But for now in these moments, the ones that are crucial we are refusing and unwilling to accept the highly probable.
